Based interview…

This Olivia girl’s music knowledge is incredible. I should learn more about her…

Love these lines:

“All blind mice resign / you gotta hood shine analyze / seats alive vinyl thighs” – “Sweet ‘69,” Babes in Toyland

“You see the stars through eyes lit up with lies
You got your stories all twisted up in mine
You got this thing that follows me around
You were born with glue instead of spine”
–  “Bruise Violet,” Babes in Toyland

“I’m a gasoline gut with a Vaseline mind…”
“Let me hear you depoliticize my rhyme”
“You’re so policy free and your fantasy wheels…”
– “Deceptacon,” Le Tigre

After a great episode of Highs and Lows of Sports Card Shows from the Phillies guy, I saw this short from this lovely person who calls herself Katy Perry…

I’ve been saying this for years. Music really is magic. I love you, Katy boo.

Jotun Studio knocked this “Golden” remix out of the park:

Also, the whole Katy / Chris Breslauer interview with Justin Tranter:

BTW, Katy is dating Justin Trudeau! How did that happen? Think of it, if Katy runs for President of the US and her and Trudeau get married and he moves to the US, he’d be first man, lol. I am joking of course. But I’d vote for her!

Watching that NYT Popcast interview with Olivia, finally…

I love this woman. Why is she so incredible?

Also this was the most important part of the interview for me and bless whoever clipped this part at the Popcast channel:

Great Aldous Huxley quote from “Island”:

“It’s dark because you are trying too hard. Lightly child, lightly. Learn to do everything lightly. Yes, feel lightly even though you’re feeling deeply. Just lightly let things happen and lightly cope with them. I was so preposterously serious in those days … Lightly, lightly – it’s the best advice ever given me … So throw away your baggage and go forward. There are quicksands all about you, sucking at your feet, trying to suck you down into fear and self-pity and despair. That’s why you must walk so lightly. Lightly my darling …”

I forgot about this guy, Luis Hernandez. He had a broken foot after fouling a pitch off his foot. And he stayed in the game…and hit a home run in his next at bat… and barely got around the bases. Then he was named the starting Mets second baseman in 2011…but never played for them again. Got two more plate appearances with the Rangers and that was it. They ended up going with Daniel Murphy though in the long run which worked out… although they had Justin Turner, too, and let him go… whoops.

Heather is so smart about this stuff. Even though I’m not selling online anymore, I just like listening to what she has to say.

I love the concept of having an interview over a full English breakfast (it would have to have vegan meat) especially with Olivia 🙂

Keith Foulke was such a big part of the 2004 World Series and honestly that whole season.

Wow, only one in a billion bones becomes a fossil.
