Bible Study with Loisa: When Anxiety & Loneliness Hit… the ASMR is top-notch too. She is only the world’s greatest ASMRtist after all <3

John 14:27 (NAS): “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you, not as the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.”

Mark 4:35-41 (NAS) https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Mark%204&version=NASB   #readthebible

Matthew 6:25-27 (NAS): “For this reason I say to you, do not be anxious for your life, as to what you shall eat, or what you shall drink, nor for your body, as to what you shall put on. Is not life more than food, and the body than clothing?”

“Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?”

“And which of you by being anxious can add a single cubit to his life’s span?”

Matthew 6:34 (NAS): “Therefore do not be anxious for tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

“To despair is to turn your back on God.” That’s from the film Anne of Green Gables, actually.

This girl is a preacher, for real.

I will finish the Bible Study shortly but I had some other thoughts, particularly about this:

Emily bought this for me: https://www.bestbuy.com/product/acer-chromebook-plus-spin-714-laptop-with-google-ai-14-wuxga-touch-intel-core-ultra-5-115u-8gb-lpddr5-256gb-ssd-steel-gray/JJ8V8HCQ4V/sku/6576960?utm_source=feed&extStoreId=&ref=212&loc=17931407033&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=17931407951&gbraid=0AAAAAD-ORIgGTpUccqYVKgx2y35yippON&gclid=Cj0KCQjwsMLSBhD9ARIsAIpUTDo3N7_jrAdBWTY7wJm9k_nnVjVLd0CuYDDJXWkyVLAeK82LFko9IeAaAo_kEALw_wcB

It doesn’t have a keyboard but this is OK because I have my old chromebook plus I’ll be using speech to text a lot more in future. This SHOULD be sufficient for my needs as Chrome books have built in screen recording with audio capture. If I need a keyboard I have that right in front of me; I’m typing on it!

Back to Bible study after that brief equipment interruption…

Anxiety is God’s business, your future is God’s business. Your responsibility is to live your life, and do all you can. Don’t waste your energy on tomorrow; that’s why you get so drained. That’s why worrying about future appointments is so counterproductive.

John 16:33 (NAS version) “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” Damn straight!

Luke 12:25-26 (NAS): “And which of you by worrying can add a day to his life’s span?”

“Therefore if you cannot do even a very little thing, why do you worry about the other things?”

Proverbs 8:10-12 (NAS): “Accept my instruction and not silver,
And knowledge rather than choice gold.”

11 “For wisdom is better than jewels;
And all desirable things cannot compare with her.”

12 “I, wisdom, dwell with prudence,
And I find knowledge and discretion.”

James 1:22 (NAS): “But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not just hearers who deceive themselves.”

I was literally just thinking about the idea of the Bible being like God’s mirror; even if it’s cracked up a bit.

Philippians 4:4-6 (NAS): “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!”

5 “Let your gentle spirit be known to all people. The Lord is near.”

6 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”

Psalm 34 (NAS): https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=psalm%2034&version=NASB

Isaiah 41:10: “Do not fear, for I am with you;
Do not be afraid, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, I will also help you,
I will also uphold you with My righteous right hand.”

Jeremiah 29:11 – PLANS!

“For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”

My favorite U2 song, with the original lyrics, featuring the Edge but performed by my favorite all-time band, MUSE and MISTER MATTHEW BELLAMY! I used to watch this video EVERY SINGLE NIGHT as part of my lullabies along with Tegan and Sara, Taylor Swift, and a few others. I wish I still had that playlist.

I found a version of Where the Streets Have No Name by U2 at Glastonbury and the LYRICS ARE DIFFERENT!?

How have I never heard any of this MCR album that they recently remastered? This song in particular is AWESOME, “The Only Hope For Me is You”

Every Friday I now listen to both First to Eleven’s cover of “Last Friday Night (TGIF” by Katy Perry and “Friday I’m in Love” from Glastonbury with Robert Smith and Olivia Rodrigo. Fun little ritual of mine.

These two tracks really amp me up for the end of the “work week” even though I don’t run on that sort of schedule at all. I do it out of sympathy for all those who are forced to work jobs they hate and drain them, and after all, I gotta meet people where they’re at… something i’ve long struggled with and am actively working on with my fullest intention. With God’s help of course. 😉

My favorite Matchbox Twenty song, “3AM,” and who else is covering it better than Miss Violet Orlandi?

PATTI SMITH! Still going strong.

Brooke is so awesome! Watch this, go listen to all her music, and support her all that you can because she’s amazing!

A little known country singer made an absolutely stunning cover of Coldplay’s “Vida La Vida.” Not sure why it’s suddenly trending… XP
