I think EVERYONE knows that one. But I’m transcribing through verse 21 because it’s not often quoted in context. Which as we all know, Context is For Queens, so let’s get the whole story.
16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.”
17 “For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him.”
18 “He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”
19 “And this is the judgment, that the light is come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their deeds were evil.”
20 “For everyone who does evil hates the light, and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.”
21 “But he who practices the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God.”

Dizzy kitten playing pal world is something I can vibe with!
I love how she does her hair now. Someone just told her she has amazing features in real life! She does indeed. Also so glad she doesn’t mask her Arkansas accent anymore. Unfortunately the newer version of pal world is obnoxious in base building. Fun to watch but I would break things if I tried to play it.
I haven’t even gotten to learn the Omnichord yet! Seriously! My lack of sleep means I have compromise and prioritize my writing and organizing for my collected works.

The entropy of this universe is beginning to fluctuate wildly. It’s a major reason why I can’t sleep. I only got three hours before tummy issues required a long sit on the porcelain throne. And in my head I heard my mom singing this is the day that the Lord has made. While I’ll certainly rejoice, I’m not sure I’ll be all that glad in it as I crash my car into an oncoming vehicle going 75 mph because I drifted off to sleep! I may have to make multiple stops for caffeine infusion and blood recirculation. I need to get to Stamford safe and sound. I know God is with me, obviously as He is with Emily, as is the Holy Ghost. But there is still being stupid and simply making reckless choices. Unfortunately, the Lord only covers stupidity so far.
Since I’m up I may as well serve the Lord. My Bible is still in the house and not in the Big Bend because I left some books accidentally on my shelf because I was tired and extremely distracted…

1 Corinthians 12:12-14, 18, 21-27 is today’s reading.
1 Corinthians 12:12 “For even as the body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ.”
13 “For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of the Spirit.”
14 “For the body is not one member, but many.”
The importance of fellowship is clear here. Which is why I”m going to Buffalo. I have ZERO fellowship here and the Stamford flock belongs to Emily. And she doesn’t realize yet that it’s GOD calling her there. But she has the right idea. And Vermont is also her job. Not mine. They probably are a lost cause here too, but for the few who DO listen to her, it’s worth it. But not to me.
Verse 18 “But now God has placed the members, each one of them, in the body, just as He desired.”
Jesus has put all of us into spots that He expects us to serve Him.
Verses 21-27 are speaking directly to me right now.
21 “And the eye cannot say to the hand, ‘I have no need of you’ or again the head to the feet, ‘ I have no need of you.’”
22 “On the contrary, it is much truer that the members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary;”
23 “and those members of the body, which we deem less honorable, on these we bestow more abundant honor, and our unseemly members come to have more abundant seemliness,”
24 “whereas our seemly members have no need of it. But God has so composed the body, giving more redundant honor to that member which lacked,”
25 “that there should be no division in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another.”
26 “And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it,”
27 “Now you are Christ’s body, and individually members of it.”
