Found out death cab for cutie has a new album? “Punching the Flowers” is pretty good with decent lyrics. Lines like:
“Ruminating like a fatalist for hours”
“With a voice like the sound of slamming doors”
“Taking for granted the sweetness til it soured”
That last one is a great one today. There are a lot of great lyrics on this album, which… I mean it’s death cab. Wow I should go back and really mine their songs. Wrote a bunch down in my moleskine.
